Glossary

The following terms are used throughout the MobbScan API documentation. Familiarize yourself with these terms to better understand the integration process.

  • API Key: Authentication key that allows users to access the Mobbscan API.
  • API Secret: Authentication secret that allows users to access the Mobbscan API.
  • Onboarding: The process of registering a user on a platform or service.
  • verificationId: Unique identifier of an onboarding process.
  • scanId: Unique identifier of a scan process.
  • onboardingToken: Temporary token assigned to an onboarding process.
  • Access Token: Authentication token that allows users to access the Mobbscan API. It is obtained through the API Key and Secret credentials.
  • Identity document scanning: The process of scanning an identity document to verify a user's identity.
  • Facial validation: The process of validating a user's identity through a video selfie.
  • OTP: One-Time Password. A code sent to the user for identity verification.
  • Video conference with an agent: The process of validating a user's identity through a video conference with an agent.
